Hello, everyone! I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. Make sure you’re attending all of your virtual classes and staying on top of your assignments. Virtual learning is ending and soon, on January 18, 2022, we will enter the building and start continuing in-person learning.

Today, in my journalism class, I was asked to spend 10 minutes of our class time creating a free-write about dreams. When we do free-writes, it can be anything you feel about the word, what you know about the word, your definition, or anything that comes to mind when you think of the word. Here’s what I had to say…

We define dreams as an image, fantasies, or a single thought that comes to mind. They’re purely electrical brain impulses that use random thoughts and imagery from our memories to create a story. Dreams can give your life direction, meaning, and purpose. I use my dreams to give myself some sense of hope and to give myself a break from reality itself. To accomplish good things, you can’t only act on them, but you must dream about them and believe. Everyone should be courageous enough to live the life of their dreams according to their vision and purpose instead of living the expectations and opinions that other people give you.
