The Difference Between One Who Has Humility And One Who Does Not.

According to Google, ‘HUMILITY’ is “a modest or low view of one’s own importance; it is the quality of being humble.” In my definition, humility is a person’s ability to be humble when alone or surrounded by others. In essence, humility means that a person is not boastful, nor do they brag about themselves to other people. Rick Warren, an American author, and pastor, once said, “Humility is not denying your strengths; humility is being honest about your weaknesses.”
When you have humility, you recognize that you have weaknesses that you cannot suppress by simply displaying only your strengths. When you have humility, you can share your strengths, but you can’t hide your weakness. Instead, try to embrace them or find ways to overcome them.
Next time you look in the mirror, ask yourself, “Am I humble? Am I modest? Do I have humility?”
