All students Received a Free KN95 Mask and Testing Kit
January 21, 2022
Yesterday, Dr. Brown took the time to explain to students when and how they will be receiving free KN95 mask and testing kit. During your second mod, your teacher, Coach Rowels, or Mr. Summers should have hands out the kit to you. Coach Rowels came in with a cart filled with them and had you sign your first and last initials.

This is a great approach to stoping the spread of Covid-19 in schools and I think this is better than forcing everyone to have to get vaccinated in order to attend school.

I agree, I prefer this over being forced to get a vaccination shot every couple weeks.

Givin one mask a week seems dirty in my oppinion. I always change my mask everyday unless it a form of mask in which I can wash. Mask can contain dirt after a while and wearing that mask everyday on clean skin is just putting more dirt on your face.

No your right, it’s very unsanitary to use one mask for an entire week. I’m guessing we should use the KN95 mask as a back up mask? If one of ours was to break we could use the KN95 mask.

I think this is a good idea and could possibly be very effective, hopefully they’re able to keep this up until COVID cases drop.

I sure hope so.

I would like to see how they will be able to keep distributing them towards the end of the school year.
Tamya Anderson • Jan 26, 2022 at 6:06 PM
I do too, they weren’t able to provide each student with a COVID test on the first day, it’ll be interesting to see how they would manage to distribute them to EVERYONE throughout the year.

I find the COVID test to be very useful to hand out and if anything makes us more organized. I don’t think that giving one mask is enough though so we should always have back up mask if the one that was handed out is torn or lost.
Tamya Anderson • Jan 26, 2022 at 6:07 PM
I agree, it’s best if we supply ourselves with our own masks, as long as they apply to our mask code of conduct.

Honestly I feel going virtual is a thing that should be an option for all students until covid completely dies down.
Tamya Anderson • Jan 26, 2022 at 6:08 PM
I think a lot of other students and teacher’s might agree with you. I recommend that you write an article about why you feel virtual can be a better option at this time, this could help reach out to a bigger audience.

I feel like the covid tests were a great idea, and will probably work out.
Tamya Anderson • Jan 26, 2022 at 6:09 PM
I sure hope so, as long as everyone takes the time to upload a honest test result.
Terrence Simmons • Jan 25, 2022 at 8:24 AM
I don’t think one mask is enough.
Tamya Anderson • Jan 25, 2022 at 10:02 AM
I personally agree. Hopefully more mask will be distributed as the weeks come by.

Hopefully these test gives a little more control on these Covid outbreaks.
Tamya Anderson • Jan 25, 2022 at 10:03 AM
I hope so, otherwise the school would be on virtual all over agin.
