Tomorrow, Burkina Faso takes on Senegal in the first semi-finals of the Afcon 2022 at 2:00pm, while the host country Cameroon takes on Egypt in the second semi finals on Thursday at 2:00pm.

Winners of both games advance to the finals while the losers play each other on Sunday, February 6th at 11:00am to determine who becomes the third place in the competition. The finals will be played on the same Sunday, but at 2:00pm. Both Burkina Faso and Senegal haven’t won the African Cup Of Nations yet, but they now have a difficult decision to make as only one of them will be able to advance to the finals. On the other hand, Cameroon and Egypt have won the AFCON many times with Egypt winning it the highest number of times (7 times) and Cameroon winning the second highest (5 times). The last time these teams faced each other in the AFCON was in 2019 in the finals of the 2019 AFCON with Cameroon beating Egypt (2-1). Now, both teams will clash in the semi-finals with the opportunity to increase their titles. So the question remains, will Egypt increase their lead from 7 to 8 or will Cameroon increase their lead from 5 to 6?
