“Don’t Put All of Your Faith in People, Put it in God” Steve Harvey Morning Show Morning Motivation 2/7/22

February 7, 2022

This morning Steve Harvey got very spiritual and deep this morning. He used this thought to say people won’t always be there. You may be down deep in the gutter and those people that you called your friends may slowly start to disassociate themselves with you. He uses the time when he and his wife were struggling as an example. He says that when they were struggling he noticed that some of his so-called friends started to slowly back away from the situation that he was in. They weren’t there when he needed them the most. A lot of people will do this in your life. You have to determine if that person is for life or for a season. When you’re stuck in the gutter and you feeling down and no one is in your corner just say to yourself:

“I know I will get through this trail for this is just temporary, I know that no one is in my corner but God will always be in my corner because what he said that he’s gonna do he’s gonna do it, no matter what I do on my end of the deal he will uphold his end.”

This is very important to know because a lot of people are naive and are confused about who truly has their best interest.

I agree with this article. God will always be the only one there for you 24/7. People come and go and they don’t always set up to your standards. They also don’t give you or tell you what to hear. They always say what you WANT to hear or what you WANT, and not what you need.

This is very true, putting you faith in God is much more important and beneficial than putting your faith in other human beings.
