The Four P’s Of Success Steve Harvey Morning Motivation

February 14, 2022

This morning Steve Harvey gave us the four Ps to success. Pressure, Perseverance, Persistence, Prayer. He starts off talking about how his father would always tell him this one phrase, “Shoot for the moon because if you miss you’ll still be amongst the stars”. This means that if you aim for the highest level of success, if you miss you will still be successful.  He goes on to say that the reason why a lot of people don’t become successful is because they are afraid of the Pressure. Pressure creates tough times and tough times create strong people. Pressure creates diamonds. It also creates success. The next thing he talks about is Persistence. Persistence is you continuing to do something no matter what obstacles get in your way and no matter how hard it may be. In order to become successful you have to put persistent effort into it. It’s the same thing that we discussed last week about how people may say “Don’t put all of your eggs in one basket.” In order to become successful you’ll need to persistently put all of your eggs in one basket. You have to fight for your success. It’s not going to be handed to you on a silver platter. Steve then uses the example of how a dog will always chase a cat. Because it’s a natural instinct. That’s the same way you need to be with your success; you need to have a natural instinct to fight for it. The next thing he talks about is Perseverance. In order to have success you have to have perseverance. Perseverance is you fighting for your success no matter how long it may take or what may be delaying you from getting it. No matter what’s delaying you chasing after that success, don’t let it get away from you. Last but not least you have to have Prayer. The biggest thing for you to have while trying to achieve success is prayer. Steve goes on to say that you can’t get through this without prayer. In order for you to be successful you have to pray. To close off this week, think about the messages that Steve Harvey gave. What is one that you can really relate to? What is one that better encourages you?

I love the part about persistence. I feel like whenever people start to notice that things get a little tough they feel like quitting, however, anything that you really want requires you to do work.

    Amazing article!

I agree with the four Ps of success. Being able to be consistent and passionate under pressure with also having hope or someone to talk to can bring success.
