My thoughts on capitalism

Personally, I really like money, I don’t really know anyone who doesn’t like or value money in some way. However, I only like money because I live in a capitalist society where its people can be classified by the wealth they do or don’t have. Like most other countries, this country is fully dependent on money. If I had no need for money I don’t think I’d care at all. I think having currency is obviously not a bad idea. Unfortunately, in the most unsurprising way ever, America has used money in the worst way possible. Money immediately became a problem as soon as they decided to use it to monetize basic necessities. The overflowing amount of greed within our society and our government has inadvertently caused one of our country’s greatest problems: poverty. There are also other layers to the problems that money has created for our society. If you look in all of history textbooks there’s at least one or two times where something about the economy crashing is mentioned. Our country is so dependent on money that when we don’t have enough for a certain period of time it ends up in history books and the whole country seems to temporarily fall apart. America is also in debt. I’m not saying that money is a bad thing all together but the way it’s been handled has been highly impactful is the worst way possible. Our country runs around spending money like an irresponsible teenager on a blissful spending spree without realizing that they still have a responsibility to maintain a decent economy. It’s always survival of the fittest until people realize their positions in this extremely unstable economy are fragile and can change within an instant.
