2022 Election Season: Youth Voices Are Essential!

SSNews PGCPS and Makaiyah White

Young people (and teachers) in grades 11-12 interested in making their voices heard this spring are invited to join the Mikva Challenge for a series of interactive events designed to give young people the tools and strategies to promote, protect and expand their community members’ right and ability to vote in the 2022 elections. All events will be virtual and run from 6:00-8:00pm ET / 5:00-7:00pm CT / 3:00-5:00 PT.

Upcoming Virtual Events

Virtual Phone Bank – Thursday, March 10, 2022

This event is an opportunity for young people to get involved in voter mobilization together! Youth will be trained in how to effectively phone bank, and then get to practice those new skills with support from their peers and Mikva staff as they make calls from home to make sure community members understand how, when, where, and WHY it is so important for them to vote in their next election.
