Sleep Paralysis
How it feels to have sleep paralysis.
March 14, 2022
If I was asked to describe sleep paralysis, I would say it’s daunting. Sleep paralysis is when you wake up and you’re unable to move, or talk. It’s almost like an out-of body experience. I, myself experienced sleep paralysis and it was a terrifying experience. I was in my bed and woke up and felt pressure, like somebody had sat down on my bed. I tried to move and I couldn’t. It felt like somebody was moving around in bed with me. I didn’t really believe in people’s stories they would tell about sleep paralysis, but now I do. It’s 100% a thing and I wouldn’t want to experience it again. Have you experienced sleep paralysis?

This is a very interesting thought to be honest. Hope less people go through it.

I still sometimes experience sleep paralysis, and the least I can say is everyone has sort of different experiences. For me it just feels like I’m dreaming, but at the same time not. Like I can’t move and can’t speak, but I can perceive the world around me yet at the same time my perception is in the uncanny or foggy nature found in dreams. So by the time I can move again I have to question whether or not I was even conscious in the first place.

This is a good article. I have experienced this on one occasion and I still think that it’s a dream.

Personally No, I haven’t experienced sleep paralysis. But I do think sleep paralysis is one of the worst things that can happen to somebody.

This has happened to me many times and I always get so scared becaue I don’t know if I’ll be able to move. It literally feels like your being held down, and you couldn’t even call for help because no words ever come out.

This sounds horrible. Sleep paralysis is something I wouldn’t want to go through.
