If you Could, you Would

MOVE.

I didn’t hear anything. Maybe a bit of a whisper.

GET OUT OF THE WAY!

It felt as if someone called out to me.

WATCH OUT FOR THE TRAIN

First it was silent,

Then it was dark.

However, I was left with my thoughts.

Why did I stay on the tracks?

Maybe ignorance, maybe pride.

I don’t know why I even went to the tracks in the first place.

It’s not my first time here, and it always ends the same.

Going back to something that I know will hurt me.

I just want what happens afterwards.

This dark space between me opening my eyes again.

I can reflect on anything I want to here.

Well, Except for how I got here of course.

I’m here because I want to be.

I can stop at anytime I want to.

It just gets easy after a while.

If you could, you would too.
