For the past two years people have repeatedly shared the sentiment that they “wish we could return to normal life soon”, and I agree with this sentiment. I remember a period where people interacted one another on a much more personal basis, and I feel as if during this extended quarantine and mask mandates, people have never returned to that same social environment. With the cases dropping for what feels like the third or fourth time at this point, do you think we will ever return to that environment? Although part of me believes we can open back up eventually, wearing masks every day and distancing ourselves has become the new normal for many of us. Even if the mandates are over, will you stop wearing masks? Will you be comfortable being around other maskless people again, or do you think masks have become apart of our culture now?
Will we ever return to “Normal Times”?
