Sweet or bitter,

Sour or cherry,

Bottled or canned.

Bubbles to the top 

And sometimes overflows.

My words come up like soda pop.

Sweet words,

Sour words,

Pleasant words,

Bitter words.

Fizzes up to the top of the can

After being shaken around.

Overflows from the opening,

And onto the page.

My words come up like soda pop. 

Bubbly words come up

And out my mouth.

Sometimes it’ll burn my throat.

Sometimes it’ll be a satisfying feeling.

 My words come up like soda pop. 

Bubbly and sweet like Coca-Cola.

Fizzy and bitter like Dr. Pepper.

Always rushing to the top,

And flowing out like soda pop.

A/N: This was partially inspired by the movie “Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop.” It’s a very good movie and I recommend watching it! It’s on Netflix and is an anime movie.
