What does homecoming mean to you?

Homecoming is the annual reunion of a group of people at a high school, college, or university, usually on a special occasion. Homecoming is a celebration at a school or college that usually includes a dance and a football game so that former students can come back to visit. Homecoming is celebrated every year and the celebrations held by schools vary greatly. In order to welcome back former members of high schools, and colleges typically gather at the end of September or the beginning of October. It revolves around a major event, usually a dance or banquet, and a game of football, sometimes basketball, soccer, or ice hockey. Typically, a dance occurs either immediately following the game or the following day.
