On November 26, 2022, Flowers’s football team experiences its first state semifinal win against its county rival- Henry A. Wise High School. This season’s victories against Wise came after a decade of losses; the 16-13 win in October marked the first win against the pumas in thirteen years. The large large green banner proclaiming our 4a semifinal will be replaced with one boasting our state semifinal win.

Our first foray into the state championships kicks off on November 29th. Our new opponent is Quince Orchard High School, and the game is set to take place at the Navy-Marine Corps Stadium.
