We set aside today to celebrate one of our nation’s most known civil rights leaders: Martin Luther King Jr. This day is all about service. I know we all love a day off of work or school. However, he did so much service so that many of us had the right to a simple education. So, we should follow his lead and continue servicing our community. There are so many things that you could do such as feeding the hungry, cleaning up the community, and making care packages. Overall, you should take this day to rest but, remember to also give back to your community. That’s the reason we have the day off.
