January 12, 2017 CHF hosted a Winter Blitz tournament with 14 high schools including Flowers. Flowers gave a great effort and got 4th place behind 1st place Woodrow Wilson, 2nd place Watkins Mill, and 3rd place Wise.
The Flowers Jaguars include Reginald Allen, Trevon Ansley, Chance Adams, Ramar White, Rashawn Tutt, Isaiah Shelton, Austin Cole, Jessie, Darrian Mays, Anthony Wilson.
The tournament was supposed to be a two day event(friday/saturday). But because of predicted snow on saturday, they made it a one day tournament.
The opposing schools started showing up at 1:30p.m on friday and it lasted until about 2a.m saturday.
Congratulations to our six tournament placers. Trevon Ansley took 1st(126lb), Ramar White took 2nd(138lb), Rashawn Tutt took 3rd(160lb), Isaiah Shelton took 3rd(172lb), Austin Cole took 1st(182lb), and Darrian Mays took 2nd( 220lb)
